Self-care Sunday Sessions N 1: Pilates with Anna Kirs

Go Cirkulär launched the first community session with a focus on self-care, health, and well-being on the 10th of September. The intention is to create a strong community of like-minded people who share a passion for sustainable living and consciousness.

For the first session, we invited all our community to participate in an online Pilates class co-organized with Anna Kirs Pilates teacher from Stockholm, and Irene Atance, founder of Go Cirkulär. The focus is to start the new season with the intention, of expanding our energy and reconnecting with our body as a part of our self-care rituals. As you might know, our brand focuses on health and wellbeing, we are not a beauty brand.

How did we decide to collaborate? Anna and Go Cirkulär founder, Irene Atance, met while we were studying in Global Nutrition & Health program in Copenhagen, Denmark. After our education, we both became entrepreneurs, and we were always drawn to each other & have been cheering one another on our entrepreneurial journey.

The Pilates session: Lengthening & extending helped with:

  • Create more space within the body

    so your joints can move with more ease & stay healthier but also to give more space for your organs which might improve their function in the long run

  • Improve flexibility and motion

    which reduces muscle tension & makes you less prone to injuries

  • Strengthen the core

    as the only way we really get proper access to the core (abdominal muscles, back muscles & pelvic floor) is by learning to lengthen from within

  • Improve posture

    through awareness & proper alignment which happen through movements that lengthen the spine, open up the chest & strengthen the postural muscles

As Go Cirkulär joins forces with Anna to help you live a more sustainable life, for yourself, for your loved ones, and for the planet.
